How to install:
Non Forge version:
Open the new launcher and make sure the version of Minecraft the mod requires is already installed.
Click “Edit Profile” in the launcher, then open the game directory.
Go into the subfolder “versions”.
Rename the folder for the version you require to something else. In this example, rename “1.7.7″ to “1.7.7_chatlog”.
Open the 1.7.7_chatlog folder.
Rename “1.7.7.jar” to “1.7.7_chatlog.jar”.
Rename “1.7.7.json” to “1.7.7_chatlog.json”.
Open “1.7.7_chatlog.json” with a text editor and replace “id”:”1.7.7″ with “id”:”1.7.7_chatlog”, save the file and close it.
Open the class files from the mod with an archiver such as WinRAR or 7-Zip and copy-paste the files into 1.7.7_chatlog.jar. Do not close the archiver yet.
Delete META-INF and close the archiver.
Start the new launcher.
Click “Edit Profile”
In “Use Version”, select “1.7.7_chatlog”.
Click Save Profile.
Login and play as normal.
Forge version:

Download and install Minecraft Forge (If use Forge version)
Download ChatLog Mod
Browse to %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/bin and open your minecraft.jar with winrar.
Delete the META-INF folder
Drag ChatLog Mod jar file into your minecraft.jar.


Configuration:
This mod supports configuration and will upon first use create a properties file at .minecraftconfigChatLog.properties. This file currently contains two configurable settings:
max_logs: The maximum amount of logs the mod can store. The mod creates one new log per day Minecraft has been played and has received chat. Setting this to 0 will store only today’s log, and setting it to -1 will store an infinite number of logs. The actual amount of logs stored by the mod might vary slightly. If you want to limit the mod to a strict maximum value you should set it to 1 lower than your intended value. If you set the value to 40, it will store the last 40 logs. If it’s the first time per day you play Minecraft, it will generate a 41st log, but it will reduce to 40 on next launch the same day.
color_pack: Which color pack to use. Current available color packs: 0 (default) and 1 (dark). Changes to the color pack will not affect already received messages and logs.
enabled: Whether or not to log anything at all.
filters: Don’t edit this manually. Contains filtering information for ChatLog. Edit in-game using //cl filter (type “//cl filter?” for help).
logflags: Whether or not to log message flags (F = filtered message, S = control message (system message))
As new updates come, new options may be included. This will be listed in the changelog at the bottom of this post. If the mod cannot find these settings in the properties file, it will use a default value. To configure newer settings, it is recommended that you reset the configuration by deleting it (also, keep a backup). Directly adding the new options to the configuration file might work, but can produce unexpected result and even game crashes. (To fix this, undo your changes or delete the configuration file.)

Colorful Armor Mod

Colorful Armor - Minecraft mod makes chain, iron, gold, and diamond armor customizable. To change the color of a piece of armor, just place the piece and the dye of your choice in the crafting table. Enemy Soldiers Mod

The mod adds three new mobs to Minecraft: The enemy soldier the friendly soldier and the Grenadier. Two new weapons are added along with ammo. The assault rifle and the rocket launcher.

Mod Contents:
Weapon Description: The guns in Enemy Soldiers are used just like a bow and arrow. The weapons can be rapidly fired but do more damage if you hold down the right mouse button longer. The pistol is the weakest weapon but is very cheap to craft. The assault rifle is stronger but consumes more ammo. The shotgun is stronger than both the pistol and assault rifle but cannot shoot as far. The lever action rifle is the strongest long range weapon other than the sniper rifle. The sniper rifle is the strongest weapon but is the most expensive to craft.

Sentry Turrets: Sentry Turrets are entities that can be crafted and placed into the world. They are used to defend your home from mobs and other players. The turret will attack anything that moves, including you. You can use pistons to cover them up if you need to pass them safely. It is best to surround the the turret with blocks except for the front. This is so nothing can knock the turret out of place by shooting it.

Explosive Targets: Explosive targets are entities that can be crafted and placed into the world. They explode when they take any damage from falling, being shot or hit with a weapon. Explosive Targets can be used for target practice, as a weapon, or to ignite tnt.

Armored Vest: The armored vest is an extremly tough chestplate included to create balance if you are playing with no other mods installed.

Vanilla Enemy Soldiers: The Vanilla version of Enemy Soldiers reduces the health and attack damage of the Soldiers to work well with the standard minecraft armor and weapons. A download link for this version can be found below. This version is outdated and lacks some bug fixes.

Enhanced Biomes Mod

Enhanced Biomes has undergone a drastic change from the mod that tried to add realistic new biomes and as few blocks as possible to the Minecraft world. 30 new biomes, with 23 being rare variants, biome specific stones and new wood types for all 15 new trees that resemble their Minecraft counterparts, along with improvements to villages and a biome information display similar to Minecraft’s co-ordinates display. It’s a massive update.

While Enhanced Biomes’ aim is more or less the same, its attempt at realism exceeds that of Better Biomes’ improvements to the world’s surface. Each tree is made from a different type of wood. There are 6 new stone variants that retain the properties and uses of the default stone that generate by biome type, complete with variants of ores, stone bricks, cobblestone and slabs. Villagers now build their homes from the resources around them, their biome’s stone and wood types.

Additionally, new config options allow for better customisation of your world, such as village size and rarity, and soon, biome weights in generation. It also retains the biome size, generation, and village spawning options.

Vein Miner Mod

A mod to help mine veins of ores by mining blocks of the same type in a chain reaction, giving you the blocks at the end. It is inspired by Connected Destruction by Bspkrs.

It improves upon Connected Destruction by:
Can be optionally be installed in the client for hotkey support
Can have personal settings (that can be remembered using the client part of the mod
Actually uses the tool to mine, so drops are correct
Can change the settings in-game

Usage:
To use Veinminer, you need to have Veinminer installed on the server (for single player games the client and the server are the same). You do not need to have Veinminer installed on the client, however it will provide reduced functionality to the clients that do not have it installed.

In order to get the most out of Veinminer, you shold edit the VeinMiner.cfg config file. Add the ids of the blocks to the different block lists to that you wish to be able to mine using Veinminer. Add any tools that you want to be able to use to use with Veinminer. The IDs should be changed on the server.

The default config file has the vanilla ores added for the pickaxes, vanilla wood added for the vanilla axes and clay for the shovel.

Veinminer has several modes, each of which determine when it is activated. Modes are specific to each player.

‘Disabled’: Don’t activate at all. This is the default if you don’t have the mod installed in the client.
‘Auto’: Activate when the keyboard shortcut (also called a keybind) is pressed in the client. The keyboard shortcut by default is ‘~`.
‘Sneak’: Activate while you are sneaking. This is the same option as provided by Connected Destruction. This is the default if you have the client.
‘No Sneak’: Activate while you are not sneaking.
The client setting in the config file allows you to choose what mode you go into when you join a game. To set the default mod to disabled, set the shortcut to an unused key.

You can use the ‘/veinminer‘ command to change the mode that VeinMiner is in for you. This can be done with ‘/veinminer enable <mode>‘ where ‘<mode>‘ is one of ‘disable;, ‘auto’; ‘sneak’; or ‘no_sneak’. You can use ‘/veinminer help enable‘ for help (i.e. info on this page).

Using the default settings, an easy way to see VeinMiner working is to chop a tree (from vanilla) down using an axe (from vanilla).

Flan’s Mod

Flan’s Minecraft mods is a combination of Planes, Vehicles and WW2Guns rewritten with a whole load of awesome new features and designed to allow easy custom content creation by anyone. Flan’s Minecraft mod alone is useless, it requires content packs in order to be of any use.

Usage and Recipes

Most actual items and blocks are separate from the mod, distributed in content packs, but there are still a few things you will need to know how to craft that are in the base mod.

Some notes about plane and vehicle crafting

The planes and vehicles will take any engine. The engine speed adds to the plane / vehicle speed so better engines make the plane / vehicle go faster.
Guns are always optional. You can put any deployable guns into the gun slots, but some planes / vehicles disallow use of certain slots.
The blueprints section lists all the planes / vehicles you have made in the past and clicking on one of these places as much stuff into the crafting table as possible to make that particular plane / vehicle.

Teams Mod Instructions

Teams Mod is designed to allow you to play FPS-like gametypes on your Minecraft server. To use it, you will need to be op on your server.

1) Enter “/teams listGametypes” into the chat window to see the available gametypes
2) Enter “/teams setGametype <Gametype>” where <Gametype> is one of the gametypes listed in step 1 (“TDM” for example)
3) Enter “/teams listAllTeams” to see the available teams
4) Enter “/teams setTeams <team1> <team2>” and add more teams if the gametype you chose requires more than two teams.
5) Enter “/teams getSticks”
6) Go to creative mode “/gamemode 1″ and spawn in some Player Spawners, Item Spawners and Flags (all of which are in the “Flan’s Mod Teams Stuff” creative tab)
7) Place a flag at the centre of each base you want to create and then spread some player spawners around the flag in places where you want players to spawn.
8) Use the stick of connecting to connect the spawners to the flagpole by clicking one after the other
9) Use the stick of ownership on the flagpole to change the base owner
10) Item spawners may be left unconnected (in which case anyone can pick up their items) or connected (in which case only people on the team of the base connected to the spawner can pick up the items). To change the spawn delay of an item spawner, right click it with an empty hand. To add an item stack to the spawner, right click it with that stack in your hand.

Maps features
Now you can set your bases into groups (called maps) and use a simple command to set the current map, and hence the set of currently used bases.

“/teams listMaps” : List the maps
“/teams addMap shortName The Long Name of The Map” : Make a new map. “shortName” is a reference name used to set the map and the full name follows.
“/teams setMap shortName” : Sets the current map to be the map with the given shortName
“/teams removeMap shortName” : Remove a map from the list
Use the Stick of Mapping (“/teams getSticks”) to set the map of a base
Map Rotation

“/teams listRotation” : Show the current rotation
“/teams useRotation true” : Use the map rotation
“/teams addRotation <map> <gametype> <team1> <team2>” : Add a map with set gametype and teams to the map rotation
“/teams removeRotation <ID>” : Remove a map from the rotation. IDs are as in listRotation
“/teams nextMap” : Skip the current map and move on to the next one
“/teams goToMap <ID>” : Jump around the rotation at will
How to install Flan’s Mod for Minecraft:

Download and install Minecraft Forge.

Now run Minecraft through the launcher and quit.
Returning to your game directory, there should be a “Flan” folder.

Crafting Pillar mod

This mod adds a fancy way of doing regular Minecraft tasks:

Brisingr Mod 1.6.4

The Brisingr Mod adds a bunch of stuff from the wonderful, fictional world of Alagaesia from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle (if you haven't read it, go read it and come back!) The mod currently features a variety of weapons, materials and ores from Alagaesia. Hope you enjoy.

Elves: 100 hearts of health and drop Golden Apples, with a rare drop of diamonds. Spawn in Du Weldenvarden.
Du Weldenvarden:Home of the Elves. As of the moment, only contains one type of tree, but more shall be added in the next update. In future will have the Menoa Tree and possibly Elven cities.

No Void Fog Mod 1.7.4

How to install:
Open the new launcher and make sure the version of Minecraft the mod requires is already installed.
Click “Edit Profile” in the launcher, then open the game directory.
Go into the subfolder “versions”.
Rename the folder for the version you require to something else. In this example, rename “1.7.x” to “1.7.x_Modded”.
Open the 1.7.x_Modded folder.
Rename “1.7.x.jar” to “1.7.x_Modded.jar”.
Rename “1.7.x.json” to “1.7.x_Modded.json”.
Open “1.7.x_Modded.json” with a text editor and replace “id”:”1.7.x” with “id”:”1.7.x_Modded”, save the file and close it.
Open the class files from the mod with an archiver such as WinRAR or 7-Zip and copy-paste the files into 1.7.x_Modded.jar. Do not close the archiver yet.
Delete META-INF and close the archiver.
Start the new launcher.
Click “Edit Profile”
In “Use Version”, select “1.7.x_Modded”.
Click Save Profile.
Login and play as normal.

Non-vanilla ores only spawn if a mod that uses them exists. All nether ores turn into their surface counterparts in a furnace - some (like redstone or coal) may need to be smacked with a pick or macerated to be made useful.

You need PowerCrystalsCore:
You need this for Minefactory Reloaded and Nether Ores to work.
Make sure you get the correct one for your Minecraft version.

How to install
Install Forge 1.6.4 Recommended because thats the one I used.
