Elemental Orbs If you play in Survival, you probably have spent some time leveling up, gaining new powers and enchantments to use, potions and many other cool things. What if there were more to it than that? What if there were a more powerful and creative new way to use seemingly normal items in Minecraft? The Elemental Orbs does that, bringing a ton of new and frankly awesome features into the game.
There are over a dozen cool orbs currently including a Fire, Lightning, Ender, Dry, Nature, Explosion, Ice, Water, Nether, Animal, Defender and even Mega Orbs which doubles the effects of orbs, so pretty much double the orbs altogether. For more information on how to craft, check out the screenshot section above. This is how you craft a standard Orb (which looks an awful lot like a bubble):
Here is how to create different orbs, first a Fire Orb which rains fire down all around you igniting hordes of creatures and blocks:
Another cool one, a favorite of mine is the Ender Orb which teleports creatures way from you in a non violent fashion:

- Pros: Awesome ideas and tons of cool new things to try
- Cons: Fairly buggy and a work in progress but very cool anyway
How to Install Elemental Orbs Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2 and 1.6
- Download Forge
- Go to Start Menu, type in %appdata% and search for .minecraft
- Find the minecraft.jar and open with WinRAR (or similar software)
- Delete META-INF
- Place Forge files inside the minecraft.jar
- Run Minecraft to create the Mods folder and close Minecraft
- Place the entire Elemental Orbs zip into the Mods folder
- Run minecraft and you are ready to go
